Hello,
Idk why but I still haven’t heard back from TCNJ ( many people got their decisions a couple of days before).
I thought I was IN but I am having second thoughts lol i am freaking out
Major: BIOLOGY
ACT SCORE: Composite: 32 (E: 33 M: 32 R: 33 S: 30)
SAT II: Bio-E 720
GPA: 4.1
And I have a ton of extra activities including a good essay
Is it cause I applied late (close to the deadline)?
Did they have a notification date? If so, and you ahvent heard, call the ad office and ask. Unless they mail the decisions, in which case give it a few days.
Yeah I emailed the admissions office. They said decisions will come out before April 1st. Its just that many people have already heard this weekend (through mail) and I am scared I haven’t heard back because of a possible rejection. I may be overthinking it but idk I thought my stats were fine…
@Upenngirl98 I’m in a similar situation to you.Somewhere around a high 3.8 UW and 2100 SAT. Friends that had SAT scores almost 250 points lower than mine and lower GPAs were accepted to the bio major already and I haven’t heard back yet When did you apply? I applied late Jan. so I think that might be a possibility as to why I haven’t heard back yet.
@annonyingorange SAME HERE! I am perplexed… Maybe we applied later than the people who were informed
I applied around January 25th so we’re in the same boat.
I think it’s because you applied later than other people. I got my acceptance end of January because I applied earlier. So don’t worry too much! Your stats are amazing and definitely enough for Bio!
Daughter applied in November RD but still hasn’t heard back. In state. A girl who’s been accepted to the same schools as my daughter was accepted to TCNJ in the last week or so.
Don’t worry…“Therefore, the Admissions Office can only guarantee that a general admission decision will be mailed prior to April 1st, no matter how early the student applies.”
Nothing changed for me, but I received a letter in early March to change my major since in the letter they said I was a good candidate and my chances will increase. So I did, but still haven’t heard back /:
