TCNJ or GW??

I’m going to start off by saying that my major at TCNJ would be PoliSci and at GW it would be PoliComm, so I want to go into politics. GW of course seems like the obvious choice, right? Well, that’s my issue here.

  1. Both TCNJ and GW gave me little financial aid. I'm an in-state student for TCNJ but I'd still be paying 23,000 out of pocket a year, and for GW I haven't gotten my fin aid package back but as of right now I'd be paying 49,000 out of pocket.
  2. For opportunities, GW cannot be beat. The location makes it the perfect place for internships within the government. TCNJ, on the other hand, is only close to Trenton and NYC (but that's STILL far from the campus)
  3. GW is in a city and TCNJ is basically in the middle of nowhere. Lots to do vs. not much to do besides campus activities.

Basically what I’m asking is: is opportunity and location truly worth being over $100,000 in debt?

Absolutely not.

No.
