TCNJ or Haverford?

Hi I'm a senior in High School and was wondering about the two schools. I have applied to TCNJ, but haven't applied to Haverford. Here are my SAT scores:

SAT: 720 CR 630M 700 Writing =2050 (I know i messed up in math. Im good at math but dont know what happened)
4.65 GPA and top 5% in school.

SATII: US History- 650 Biology- 680

I have taken 7 AP's thus far. I have mostly A's and some B's on my report card.
I want to major in biology and go to medical school.
Both of these schools have great bio programs, but Haverford's is better.

I visited TCNJ and I really like it. It suits my personality. I like the quiet, serene, and small atmosphere. I really LOVE TCNJ right now, but my friend started to talk about Haverford and she made it sound like kind of a better version of TCNJ. Now i'm starting to think about Haverford now, but dont know too much about it. Just know their SAT requirements are within my range and have steller science programs... Which one do you think it shud be?

An advice from my med school friend told me that im better off going to TCNJ cuz its cheaper, good educated, and will allow me to be at the upper tier while if i go to "smarter" schools like Haverford, I'll be at the median. Which one do you think i shud go to?

You don’t need to decide now. Apply to both, and decide later if/when you get accepted to both schools. You should also apply to some less selective safety schools. TCNJ has gotten more and more selective, so it would be a match school for you, not a safety. I don’t think you could count on being in the “upper tier” there, especially in bio/pre-med.

Haverford is a very small school, about 1200 students vs. about 6000 for TCNJ. Which one is better depends on your perspective. TCNJ will be much cheaper, assuming that you are instate in NJ. TCNJ is strong in the sciences, especially bio and pre-med.
