I know that comparing the schools is like comparing apples to oranges, but I'm really lost at what to do.

I was accepted to both the TCNJ and Rutgers (New Brunswick) Nursing programs. There are things I like about TCNJ (small class sizes/close knit community) but other things I love about Rutgers (D1 sports/school spirit etc). To be honest, I never really considered either schools seriously until I found out that my dream school was unaffordable. Since I now have to look at my other options, I am stuck between TCNJ and Rutgers because both provide an affordable high quality education. I like both schools, and both are the same price so money is not an issue.

So I guess what I'm asking is, which one is better for a nursing student? I know that Rutgers is much larger, with a much bigger network of alums with many more opportunities (from what I understand). I know that Rutgers also has their own hospital which provides many jobs to nursing students upon graduation. However, most of the average students from my high school were accepted to Rutgers which is why I am weary about going there. I know that TCNJ is much more selective and overall has better academics (I think it was like #42 on the list of schools with the smartest students-correct me if I'm wrong) but I am worried about lack of connections in the job world. I want to be a nurse anesthetist and I know that DNP programs have less than a 5% acceptance rate and I am not sure if going to either school would improve my chances of getting accepted. If anyone could help me out or give me information about either program it would be greatly appreciated. I also think I am going to visit each school one more time in order to make a final decision.
