I plan on majoring in either Accounting and/or Finance. I've already been accepted to Rutgers NB, and I'm waiting on TCNJ. If accepted, I'm torn between the two. I know TCNJ is now ranked higher for undergrad. but I imagine Rutgers still has more name value.

Both are excellent colleges academically.

At this point, you may want to compare their Career Centers and find out about recruiting for internships and job placement after graduation.

Also consider whether you want a personal liberal arts college atmosphere where your teachers know you by name or a large state university offering a large alumni network and big name athletic programs.

Consider where you would fit in best.

Both schools are great options. Something to consider: 4 year graduation rate for Rutgers is 53%; TCNJ is 71%.

TCNJ all around better in getting employed … so screw the the name recognition to the average uneducated thug on the street.

im a TCNJ student now, and im trying to double major with Accounting and International Business and they keep denying me. let me know if you got or get into TCNJ with a double major of Accounting and Finance

Ive talked to my advisor about double majoring in finance and accounting and they would not let me because they overlapped too many classes
