TCU 2021 Decision Thread

I was waitlisted. Really hoping to be accepted off the list before May 1st.

Deferred then denied into Nursing school – stats were above the designated 75th% in TCUs common data set, so this was a huge disappointment, especially given other things that should have been in favor of admittance.

I checked the Portal and it say decision emailed. I did not get an email, does everyones Portal have the actual decision on it?

@BSNhopeful I got an email that said my decision was available on the portal and then I checked the portal and it was there. Maybe check your spam/junk email?

Thank you. That probably means denied, since it is the other way around.

@BSNhopeful I was waitlisted. I’d say either call the admissions office or wait a few days to see if you get anything in the mail

D was deferred then just accepted into TCU Nursing school. Unfortunately, has had a change of heart about TCU since being deferred earlier. Hopefully this opens a spot for someone else!

Do you mind telling me where she chose to go?

Alabama. Was accepted into the Honors College. UA was never even on the radar as she has been accepted into a number of other Direct Entry choices, but has fallen in love with the school. A little disappointing as all of our family are TCU alums…but she may yet change her mind.

Never received any email at all, but got an acceptance letter today in the mail.

sister got accepted today but nothing about financial aid. does that mean they’re not offering her anything?

@gigichuck they don’t send anything out for financial aid. Go on to the portal and under financial aid it should say if she has received aid.

is there a groupchat for admitted students?

Has anyone been admitted if they applied after the February 15 deadline? My son didn’t apply until very late April and just wondering how many spots they still have open, if any and how quick he might get a decision. His portal says they have received all of his documents and that his application is complete. He was all set for a out of state school and changed his mind at the last minute.

Did your daughter call admissions after getting deferred or send emails or both?
