My daughter was accepted. She was named a Dean’s Scholar and was invited to interview for the Chancellor’s Scholarship.

Son was deferred but will send in his first semester grades to be considered with the regular decision group and will get a decision by mid-March. He already has lots of great options so maybe he will decide to go elsewhere before then. His heart really isn’t set on any particular place at the moment but he really did like TCU. Congratulations to all of those accepted and may you all be happy wherever you land!

Hey does anyone know if the chancellor’s scholarship invitations are sent with admissions decisions? I received a scholarship letter offering me the dean’s scholarship but nothing regarding the chancellors. Has that ship sailed? Thanks gang.
Do you know if everyone that didn’t get accepted moved to deferred, or do some actually get rejected during Early Action. Thank you.

I don’t know about this year for sure. But last year students were definitely rejected directly after applying EA.
I cannot answer your question definitively, but my daughter was invited to apply for the Chancellor’s Scholarship. The Chancellor’s Scholarship invitation was included in my daughter’s scholarship letter, which was released at the same time as her admissions decision but in a separate letter. The Dean’s scholarship was mentioned in the first paragraph. The subsequent paragraphs were about the Chancellor’s Scholarship interview opportunity.
