@afradett91 I also interviewed on the 26th but I submitted all my information for TF on the 24th my status is still under review but all my docs say “YES”

@dreamer5 yeah I interviewed in Dallas. So maybe I should hear something back soon.

Also was anyone elses final interview short? mine was only 25 mins.

I just got an email that says

Hello xx
Thank you for the clarification.

I updated the information for you. Just note that any application amendments made are only visible on our end.

Periodically check your transitional funding status page via the applicant center to see if we require additional information from you or if the documents you submitted fulfill our requirement – that’s how we’ll communicate with you.

If you do not see an update from us on your page asking for further documents then you can expect to see an award offer on acceptance notification day; provided you are accepted into the corps.

Also, until acceptance notification day you will see your status as “Under Review”.

That’s interesting @dreamer5 I am just worried.

@Afradett91 mine was around 30 minutes, although it seemed shorter.

@mossmoss have you heard about your status on TF? nothing here yet, where did you interview? Where do you want to go?

@Afradett91 unfortunately I’m not applying for TF. So I can’t obsess with y’all! I interviewed in Memphis and I really want to stay in the South.

@mossmoss haha! I understand completely. I just want to know. I applied to stay in the high need areas.

@Afradett91 that’s great! How did you rank them?

I think Mississippi, Memphis, Oklahoma, Vegas and Detroit,

then Dallas, San Antonio and Houston.

@dreamer5 I got an e-mail that basically said the same thing. I don’t want to throw another stick in the mud, but after the response I got back on my inquiry it really seems as though stressing about the transitional funding status is pointless.

Hello XX,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We most likely have not gotten to your application yet. We still have over 450 new applications to review.

Please also note that occasionally our verification does not pull through to the applicant’s end. When this happens, you will see “N/A” on your end while we can see that your documents have been verified on our end.

@cholt5 thanks for sharing that, i’ve had NA since tuesday after i was asked to submit additional docs on monday

I gotta stay optimistic everything is verified in my TF status the email basically said that I’m good to go for TF and I’ll know the amount if accepted on the 13th so that at least is a stressor off my shoulders now I can resume stressing about getting in!!!

does anyone know if everybody gets asked for additional documents? Or are some people good to go from under review to complete with just the three basic documents they ask for?

Am I the only one here who has had none of their docs verified??

@littleapple89 no you are not haha and it sucks

One week to go! I wish I’d had a reason to ask for early notification.

I received this email:

Hello XX

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We have received your application. We have not yet reviewed your application. We currently have about 450 new applications still to review. Your application is one of the 450.

Sincerely,
Corps Member Finances

@TFAtobe, when/where did you interview and when did you submit your docs?

interviewed the 25th, submitted docs on the 23rd. There isn’t any pattern or method I’ve noticed, so there either isn’t any or people are being verified by the order they become accepted
