Teach For America 2014 Corps

My least preferred regions were Jacksonville and DC, like you, I’d still accept lol, I’m trying to stay west :p

Another question: Where did you all most prefer? I’ll start, I most preferred NY and LA. LA was my number one. I least preferred Detroit. I’d still go if I got it, though.

My most preferred in order were: LA, SD, Bay Area, Washington State, and Sacramento  Yeah, for me subject placement is more important than location!

Most preferred were Phoenix, D.C., and Dallas/Fort Worth. Least preferred is Memphis and yes I would still accept a placement there :)

hey guys, on my transitional funding page, my first line just turned grey and the second line is white and then at the bottom the lines alternate grey and white with the first line being white…it just happened last night…do all you guys have that too? just a thing i just noticed…as my status page now is all grey

Highly preferred: Colorado, Jacksonville, Oklahoma, and E. North Carolina; Least preferred: St. Louis and Northern Ohio. I will most likely accept ANY region.

@imwideawake my TF page, the top line has been grey since Monday. The rest of the page is white but I do not have access to my documents any longer. My status page has been grey on the required actions but the optional actions is white. Haven’t seen this info on previous threads so not sure if it means anything. Is your status under review or complete?

@imwideawake Mine turned a light grey a few days ago. the whole top page of the application with the recommendations etc. and on the transitional funding page the top line, but not the second line are all grey…I don’t think it means much of anything besides that the application has probably been finalized on TFA’s end

I most preferred Washington state, least preferred Las Vegas and Atlanta. Though unfortunately I can only accept if the position was in Washington. My TF has still yet to be verified. Trying to keep optimistic.

same here, my required actions are all gray, but then for TF it’s all white.
@needtoteach @cholt5 are you both “complete”? verified documents?

@idetr14 interesting… ok so would you still accept if you were offered your least preferred subject/grade placement?

@natgeowild Of course! I was just saying that to me location is not a big deal, I would be more happy with TFA giving me the subject I wanted the most  I would rather get a least preferred city if it meant I got my most preferred subject :p

@idetr14 my documents were verified last Monday but have been under review the whole time.

@needtoteach then I think you’re in good shape honestly, thats where I’m at now too. It’s supposed to be “under review” until 12am notification day. So far I haven’t seen any 4DL people get “complete”

@idetr14 haven’t noticed any significant changes to my TF app. Still “Under Review” at this point

@cholt5 including the verification?

@idetr14 yes, including the verification. Just trying not to worry about it since according to TFA, in response to an inquiry I made earlier this week, a lot of the time the documents are verified on their end even though we cannot see that they are on our end

still under review…

here’s a new one for you - under “OPTIONAL ACTIONS”

Submit your Transitional Funding Application WHITE

Learn more about what comes next after notification on March 13, regardless of your admissions decision. GREY

Learn about some of our partner organizations. We’ll hear about their work and discuss potential opportunities for working with them. WHITE

Hear from real corps members and ask them questions about their classrooms and experiences. GREY

If you have a competing offer that requires notification before March 13, you can request early notification. WHITE

@imwideawake that how mine has always been, with ‘REQUIRED ACTIONS’ being completely gray
