Nothing has changed on mine at all. My interview was on 10/15 and I submitted documents on 10/5/2013. I received the error message for a while that I couldn’t complete my TF until I complete my online app but it is sporadic. I am trying to be optimistic bc the email I received said " We try to get through all the applications within about a week (the exact time needed depends upon the number of applications we receive). We might not get to your application until the end of the week, but it will be reviewed prior to Notification Day."

Yeah my TF still stays “under review” but I did submit mine the last minute on 18th. All i can do is wait and see what happens, I know they have alot of applications to go through.

I did not do the transitional funding yet. However, I also noticed that my region preferences does not have the unsubmit button anymore, and there is now a note at the bottom that says no changes are to be made after Oct 20th. When I had checked on Friday, it did not say any of this. Not sure if this means anything, but I just wanted to post this update!

@nln340 my unsubmit is now gone, there is also a note at the bottom of the page. On Friday am my unsubmit button was available like you said I’m not sure what this means, it may be another “glitch”.

@elemteacher - Sorry for the late response and yes, mine is still “UNDER REVIEW” despite the “YES” on documents. Its been like this for over a week so I imagine it won’t change -_-;;; although I’m not as worried as before since it seems to make little sense for them to process applications of rejected applicants. Why bother asking me for clarification if nothing will come of it? Lets hope my emails were correct and faithful in stating that my application is actually “COMPLETE.” Only time will tell.

@emac542 @somanybanelings Well, I’m going to take it as a good sign that our documents have at least been verified. But not thinking too much into it.

I don’t know about you all, but I’m definitely beginning to feel a lot more calm about this week. I’ve realized that if I’m not accepted, I’ll be upset, but I’ll be alright. And if I am accepted, it’s going to be life changing… and there are going to be a LOT of things to figure out & get done on top of my busy schedule. So for now, I’m relaxing and getting as much of my schoolwork done as I can, because if I am accepted, I don’t want to start falling behind. I hope you all are getting excited for Thursday!

@elemteacher I agree that it’s a good sign our documents have been verified! Also, a few people in this thread had theirs verified early on and then their status changed to complete a few days later - I’d say, there’s still hope for us! I’ve also been looking through last year’s thread, and in particular, during 4DL and 5DL people had documents verified but their statuses didn’t change to complete until decision day. I’m currently trying to figure out if anyone posted who had documents verified but their status did not later change to “complete.”

@explorer17 I was trying to figure out the same thing. Let me know what you find, I only looked at I think 4th or 5th deadline and no one who was verified wasn’t accepted/eventually turn to complete.

I am so nervous for Thursday, I just want it to happen already. I honestly hope almost all of us get in, I can tell how passionate and dedicated everyone on here would be. I really appreciate being able to read your posts and vent myself to people who are going through this too. I’m not putting too much stock in the unsubmit button, I think it’s just a glitchy site. And God forbid next year looks at this thread and we just gave them one more thing to obsess over. TF status has a history or correlation with acceptance, lets just stick with what we know.

Anybody from Philly on here or anyone who highly preferred Philly?

Hey @emac. I’m from Philly and I go to school in Philly. But I mostly preferred schools in the south for the low cost of living. I also was worried about expenses. If you get accepted to the Philly corps, the partner masters program is with the University of Pennsylvania. It’s a great school and has a wonderful program but it is CRAZY expensive. I can’t afford that much more debt now so I opted for somewhere less expensive. I’m hoping the Americorps award they give you will cover the cost of the masters program I opt into wherever I’m placed. I don’t know if you’re in school now, but my classes and activities always makes my weeks go by quickly. I’m actually scared of the decision. I don’t think I want to open my email at all on Thursday haha!

I know how y’all feel. I’ll be in my student teaching classroom all day, then going straight to my grad class. I’m contemplating not bringing my phone or laptop with me so I can’t check it until later, but I highly doubt I’ll have enough self control!

@Rolemodel32 I’m from Philly and go to school and work here too! So I definitely know all about UPenn and would loveee to stay here and get my master’s there. Where do you go to school? Slash what area do you live in?

I go to Temple University. I’m graduating with my undergrad in May. I live in West Philly noe but I used to live in the Fairmount neighborhood. When did you interview @emac

Welp, promised myself I wouldnt get too hung up on TF Status but mine is still Under Review with no verification. Interviewed on the 16th witih my TF application submitted on the 18th…

@Rolemodel32 I go to La Salle! Graduating in May as well. I used to live in the Fairmount area (more Brewerytown) but I now live in Northern Liberties. I interviewed on Monday the 14th in center city. How about you?

@HalcyonDaze Don’t worry! A ton of people had theirs’ change last minute in previous years, and it’s been said that they won’t finish applications until Tuesday.

@Rolemodel32 & emac542. I’m also living in Philly! I’m a senior at UPenn & live on campus. I didn’t put Philly on my list at all. I love it here, but want to experience a new city.
