@amk1107 I’m in exactly the same situation, no student loans and absolutely nothing on my transitional funding page has changed since I submitted my documents a few weeks ago. I’m not really letting it get me down though, I still have hope!

@georgy306, @Coppermoss, @amk1107, I also don’t have student loans, but next to my 2012 Tax Return it says YES

Can We Get A Tally For How Many People Have NO change On Tf? No Verified Documents, No Status Change. Who Would Be In That Category?

P.s Sorry Every Word Is Capitalized, My Phone Does It Sometimes

@emac542 me!

@emac542 me. I still have yet to see a change.

@georgy306, @Coppermoss I’m glad to know that there are others out here like me. I guess we all just have to sit back and wait. I can’t believe it’s so close to notification. I just wish they would let us know how they were processing our information so we would know whether or not our information is at least been seen.

Two So Far. Who Else? Georgey And Coppermoss Would You Be Included In That?

**Update

My status still reads complete as it has for the past week, now I see loan amounts and my submit button has disappeared.(There’s also a a generic message at the bot staying that my preferences can’t be changed). Not sure what all this means but I thought I would let you all know.

I’m excited that you guys are taking a poll. I honestly don’t think the time you submitted it’s a factor when having documents reviewed unless you submitted them yesterday. Someone here posted about how they and their significant other interviewed together, listed the same preferences and submitted their documents on the same day however one has seen changes the other hasn’t. I also submitted a document late and my status has changed to “complete”. I think the emails that are sending out are just generic responses.

Also have you guys thought that some people have different members of TFA staff viewing their documents and while one staff member may be leaving the status as under review while other staff members may be changing status to complete.

I believe that the computer sever is maxed but I don’t believe this has anything to do with status change or thee lack of. I’ve not noticed any other changes or glitches to be on my application. Now if my recommender forms go “under review” then I may believe it being that I’m positive they’ve been submitted.

Hey people! I haven’t been on here in awhile but as an update I’ve been under review the whole time but I have the parenthesis next to the statement about federal loans. I’m not sure when it got there or if it means anything at all. I’m nervous for thursday!!

@Teachtoreach I agree that time submitted and regional preferences aren’t a factor. I’m the person you mentioned in your comment lol… my boyfriend actually submitted everything several days AFTER me AND past the deadline, but had his TF change to complete within less than 24 hours of submission. I finally saw changes to my TF on Friday, when my documents got verified. I don’t have loans but I do have my credit card debt in parentheses as well as the amount in my savings…but I think this has been there the whole time in my case.

That being said, although my boyfriend and I have the same regional preferences and interviewed on the same day and in the same city, we were at different interview sites, so it’s possible TF processing has something to do with how quickly interviewers get in their paperwork. Also, assuming TF has anything to do with placement, I am probably more difficult to place than my boyfriend because he highly preferred STEM subjects and I want English/social studies.

That is also a good point about different TFA staff members entering things differently, Teachtoreach, because when I emailed grants and loans I was told that my application had been reviewed, even though my TF status has read “under review” since I submitted the application. I do wonder if someone else had looked at my TF app, maybe it would have read complete?

I think the moral of this is…who knows! Anything can happen. I’m keeping hope alive until I hear one way or the other :)

I agree with the statements above. I never really thought about how many people were actually involved in the whole process looking into our applications, also taking into consideration our personal differences.

All we can do now is wait for Thursday. I plan to check my TF two more times tomorrow and not again until notification time; plus I also have midterms to be studying for. Sending good vibes to us all. I am calling it a night!

Has anyone heard of someone’s documents not being verified and then they still are accepted?

I feel like this document verification question is new. On past threads, they don’t seem to talk about “oh my documents are verified but I’m still under review” or even really taking much note of document verification vs status. So who knows

@emac542 I would be included in that group! I can’t wait until this anxiety is over haha

@explorer17 glad you cleared that up because I had the story all wrong. I personally revived two contradictory emails from two DIFFERENT staff members.(this ultimately leads me to believe everyone is handling their work load differently, which would explain status change in some in no status change in others.

@Teachthechildren no I’ve yet to read about that however it would be something interesting to research. From my readings there’s need to be some change in stats whether is be prior notification day or on notification day.

Interviewed Oct 16
Submitted tf Oct 18
Status: under review
Never changed
Preference NY elementary school
Stressing and waiting…

@Teenamaree I have the same Preference!

@teachthechildren I just hope no change is not a bad sign…

Wondering if they try to place according to highest preference or if they just place according to their needs. I will pretty much go anywhere…

Just noticed the amount in the parenthesis is the amount you entered in the tf application. Not an indicator. :(

What time will we find out on Thursday?
