And while it might be difficult to focus and fill out a lengthy form if people are accepted, it definitely would be helpful to future applicants. We can always add in the details later too! Just don’t forget to put where/what you’ll be teaching if accepted!

the last time I checked my TF status (several days ago) I was under review with verified documents. I told myself that I would try to preserve the shred of sanity I have left by not logging in again until notification day. (Also I didn’t know if I should expect much change since I didn’t submit my documents by the deadline for notification day)

@tfahopeful2014 I didnt apply and have noticed no changes besides the disappearance of the unsubmit option on the assigbment preference form, which I assume happened to everyone

@tfahopeful2014 I also didn’t apply for TF, and I didn’t see anything but the unsubmit button change. I’m actually super glad I didn’t apply for TF because if I’m freaking out like crazy anyway, I can’t imagine how neurotic I would’ve been if I did :rolleyes:

I’ve been lurking this page for awhile so I thought it would be nice to join the day before My stomach has been in knots all day just thinking about TFA

@emac542 I feel sick to my stomach also! At least we are all in this together.

As far as the format goes, based on people’s suggestions, what does everyone think of this?

Please give any other additional information that might be helpful to future applicants.

@explorer17, I think that looks great! I hope everyone posts regardless of the outcome. I feel like we are missing data from rejected applicants last year.

@explorer17 I think that’s great. I would only add the part in asterisks

Can’t wait to spend all night wide awake with all of you threaders awaiting changes!! It’s like a giant, tense, thread sleepover!!

Hi, all! Kind of crazy to think that we’ll know in less than 24 hours. I’m oscillating between hope and dread. I prioritized Chicago, the Bay Area, and Philadelphia (where I am currently; hi to the other Philly folks haunting this thread), though I would be happy with anywhere on my list.

We’re so close to finding out but it still feels so far…

What’s the first thing you all will do if you find out you’re accepted? I know when I found out I was moving on to a final interview I jumped up and down (Yes, like a child). :)

@ambitiousme
Laugh. Cry because it’s finally over and probably emit a bunch of weird noises of joy.
Then, I’ll most likely hit up my friends to celebrate Halloween. ;)

My Halloween plans are very contingent on these results. It could very well be the difference between me eating all the Halloween candy I bought for trick or treaters and retreating into a hole for a night or me going out and celebrating my good fortune.
