@rgvgirl I submitted my TF on Oct. 2nd.

Question - does anyone know how we will be notified? Will we just get an email directly telling us if we have been accepted or rejected, or will we be told to log into the applicant center again?

how many people have received emails from their recruiters? i have not

Yes… I can still delete mine :(

@letsgobucs: It sounds like previously the first thing to change was the applicant center, so that will be the first way you will be able to find out. Shortly after that, emails will go out that say either “Welcome to the 2014 Corps” or “The status of your TFA application” or something like that, depending on your acceptance. No clue whether that will be the case this year, of course.

@tfahopeful2014 - I received an email from my recruiter. Just a generic “good luck and no matter what happens you’re great” kind of deal.

@almostapostgrad: we still have the option to delete documents

@DreamInspire89: I submitted mine Oct. 7th but added an additional document on Oct. 21st

@letsgobucs: i believe that we get an email that our status has been updated and we log in to our applicant center page to check our final decision

@tfahopeful2014: my recruiter has yet to send an email, I’m sure he’ll send one out sometime today

@Disneyguy - Gotcha, thanks for the info! Good luck to you!

Hey guys, I wouldn’t necessarily read into still having the option to delete documents. Mine still had that option until it went complete shortly after 11 AM. It could still change!

@almostapostgrad I can still delete my documents

Interesting! Don’t lose hope everyone… I truly believe that they are still going over applications as we speak. Fingers crossed… I’m going to keep myself from looking at my email and application center until after my midterm.

Love you all and I wish you all the best! I’ll be sending good vibes from California!

I wish I would have found this thread earlier! It’s comforting to see that we’re all in the same boat.

Good luck on your midterm, almostapostgrad!

@Almostapostgrad I agree that they are working up until the last minute this year…I think they had less time than in previous deadlines between the interviews and notification day, meaning less time to process their paperwork. Anyway, I know that someone’s status changed to complete around 3PM on notification day during either 4DL or 5DL last year…so definitely keep hope alive for those still waiting.

Good luck on your midterm, almostapostgrad!

Hey ALL!!!

Just a few more hours… Last year’s 5 DL started receiving notifications around 3p CST. I told you guys they would be changing TF status’ to complete up until the notification. I’'ve been so calm and patient waiting for my region and subject since April… And I actually think you all are even more neurotic than we were about everything (or more invested one could say lol)…

I am definitely anxious right now though. Good luck to everyone though. This board is amazing. Can’t wait to see all the acceptances.

@Dracos: WE MADE IT!!! :)

Today is the day!!! Wow! I still have not logged in to check my TF status…Just gonna hold out I think.

@toots99k what region and subject are you hoping for?

Can someone post that form we decided on for acceptances/rejections every hour or so, so we don’t lose track of it?

I’m hoping for Chicago HS English/Humanities. But I’d prefer any HS assignment in Chicago. How about yourself? I special preference’d the area because I live here and my husband works here.

@elemteacher I was just thinking the same thing! I was looking for that form…

@AmbitiousMe: Yeah, maybe just whenever we get to a new page or whatever. It doesn’t have to be the person who posted it… someone can just go find it and repost it.
