Really? I haven’t had the chance to look over any of the documents. I just don’t know what to expect because I actually didn’t go to preschool. I’ve just been overwhelmed with the realization that I’ll be teaching pre-k at the moment lol. I definitely have a lot of questions about ECE.

I’m actually from San Jose, so I know quite a lot about it. I’m still in Southern California right now but if anyone wants to chat about the Bay Area, California, Pre-K, San Jose, or LA Institute feel free to email me! (Katdlreyes at g m a i l .com)

Everyone who is still applying to other programs, check out this database on TFA’s site – [Your Talent is Needed - And We Can Help | Teach For America](Other Opportunities to Make an Impact | Teach For America) – It has a ton of opportunities that are very similar to TFA if you’re passionate about teaching/education! City Year and Blue Engine sound really cool as do more traditional Teacher Residency programs like Aspire and the Mississippi Teacher Corps. Also, if you don’t necessarily want to get certified but you are interested in teaching for a bit, there are many international teaching placements you could apply for. Look up TALK and EPIK in Korea, Teach for China, the JET Programme in Japan, and the French Government Teaching Fellowship, for starters. I’m sure there are way more but I hope that helps some people! Feel free to message me!
