<p>@booger I thought my phone interview was decent but I felt like it could have been better. I should have waited until Monday to do my phone interview. I couldn’t really sleep last night.</p>

<p>@booger, I completely understand. I’ve had quite a few interviews these past twp years and the most three most recent ones have been great and I felt wonderful after them. However, the TFA phone interview was a lot more, I guess intense because I think we all wamt it pretty bad. After I answered the first question I immediately thought I had contradicted myself, thus the anxiety begins. I think we’d all sleep a bit better if the process didn’t stretch out over the course of a few months, but that’s what makes TFA, TFA. Best of luck to everyone tonight! I can only imagine the anticipation of the 2DL’s!</p>
<p>@m2196452 We did receive early notification for our final interview and phone interview, but seemingly late notification for acceptance. So like someone else said, I think it’s up in the air.</p>

<p>@sarabea126 That is exactly my philosophy about this whole thing. I want it so bad, but I will not expect anything to come of it for the very reason that I do not want to be disappointed. </p>
<p>@m2196452 That has been exactly my experience. In fact, I don’t think I have ever felt anything shy of ‘great’ about any interview I have ever had except this one!</p>

<p>Congrats everyone! It seems like everyone who posted regarding dl 1 and 2 made it to a final interview, obviously not the case for DL3. Maybe it just gets more and more selective the later your apply. I’m sure all of you that didn’t get a final interview will still go on to do amazing things!</p>

<p>Hi, y’all. Congratulations to everyone who has made it to the final interview!! I hope you all make it into the corps! :)</p>
<p>I unfortunately did not make it to the final interview. I am not too disappointed with that as I was already 90% convinced I wouldn’t advance and am already applying to law school so I am sure that perhaps TFA was not something that was meant to be. </p>
<p>However, I do want to share something with future applicants and perhaps those who have not gone through any interview with TFA. </p>
<p>The reason I felt soooo crappy about my phone interview is because my interviewer asked me about [only] one thing on my resume, which happened to be the one extracurricular activity I participated in solely out of my personal interest and the only activity I did not hold some sort of leadership position in. As such, I did not really have too much to say about it, much less anything too impressive. My interviewer asked me a good total of 10 questions specifically referring to this one activity. Keeping in mind, I hold several leadership positions in several successful organizations at my school ranging from extra-curricular activities to honor societies to being student body vice president. My interviewer chose to zone in on one minute detail on my resume which I felt did not in any way shape or form convey my leadership ability, community involvement, scholastic aptitude, nor my potential. </p>
<p>Future applicants: If your interviewer throws you off by asking questions about something on your resume that you feel isn’t representative of you and your abilities as a whole, please make sure that you try to get that opportunity to show your interviewer otherwise. Ask if you can talk about another experience or another part of your resume that you feel is extremely important that may have been overlooked. This is something I wish I had done and have been regretting it since I hung up that phone. I don’t want anyone else to have such regrets! Especially with something as important as TFA.</p>

<p>hey guys! Long time lurker, first time poster, I made it to the final interview round as well! So many things to prepare before the actual date, Im pumped!</p>
<p>I was sweating bullets throughout the day of everyone finding out already. lol
