Very insight article however 12/50 does not boost my confidence in these next six days…oh well, at least we only have less than a week to wait!

Yeah 12% isn’t super comforting, especially when half of applicants make it to the interviews. Makes me doubt my chances of acceptance even more. Oh well. It’s out of our hands. I’m happy it’s just down to a less than a week though!!

@rhswim9 I was asked for several documents and information about my income. At the moment my TF status says “under review”.

Hey everyone, I was never given my results on the Spanish proficiency test and I was wondering if that had happened to anyone else? Also, my TF status still reads under review with no verification of documents. I am so worried. : ( These last couple of days may kill me.

@tfapossible it seems like most of us never got our results, but someone said they did; Idk maybe it could mean that we didn’t pass, or it could just be a glitch. I’m kinda glad I didnt apply for transitional funding so I can’t obsess over that!

Hey guys I’m new to the thread and am also eagerly awaiting Thursday! I was wondering about the whole status change thing. From reading this thread and others I know that when it says “complete” that is a positive indicator of your acceptance. I was wondering where you all see complete on your status pages. I have “complete” written next to my documents, recommendations etc. and yes next to my funding forms but was wondering if there was another place I should be looking out to see this! Thanks!

@stressedgrad, yep same here. looks like we are in the same boat. we had to go back and forth so many times before it finally updated. as for everyone else, verification can happen all the way up until notification day. one of my friends told me she saw it all on notification day (verification, complete status etc). so it can really go up to the last minute. did anyone here go straight to the final? im just curious.

@teachanddance12, so on the main page, if you scroll down it will say “transitional funding/check status.” If you have applied for TF, it should say complete on the main page which I believe it says for everyone who has applied. However, if you click on the “check status/transitional funding” underneath the complete, it should take you to a new page. At the top of the page, it should say, transitional funding is “incomplete, under review or complete.” This is what some of the people in the earlier threads were referring to. They meant that their status changed from “Under Review” to “Complete.” Most individuals saw this happen on notification day itself. i hope I explained this clearly.

@rhswim9 thank you so much! That was extremely helpful. Looks like I’m still under review like most of us here. I don’t know about anyone else but as I get closer to Thursday I’ve slowly begun over-analyzing everything I did in the interviews and my chances of being accepted. I cannot wait until 6pm Thursday arrives!!

@rhswim9 I went straight to the final interview, kind of felt like I missed some preparation not going through the phone interview, but overall I hope it went well.

@teachanddance12 I agree! These last few days have got me so nervous! Is it supposed to be released at 6pm on Thursday? I’m kind of hoping it’s like the interview notification and comes out a little early. Needless to say I’ll be checking it all day!

My TF status says complete and has since Dec. 12th. Getting kind of worried since most everyone’s changed back to Under Review.

Hey 3DL’s! I know you all are getting anxious, I was accepted in the 1/2DL. Just so you know, our acceptance came out late, well after six, even though there was precedent of previous notifications coming out much earlier. Just prepare yourselves that it might not come out till much after six. I was a wreck that entire day thinking it would come out sooner. Good luck! Thursday will be here before you know it!

@teachanddance12 no problem at all. im glad i could help out. don’t worry, i have been doing the same as well haha. I wish we found out before Christmas because this extra week is pretty brutal.

@pvtmajnewsome yes, i am was in the exact same boat. i skipped the phone interview and felt disadvantaged at the actual interview. I hope mine went well too, its just hard not to second guess. Everyone at this point is more than qualified.

Hey guys I don’t know if it means anything, but the unsubmit button for my Assignment Preference Form is officially gone. Anyone else not see their button anymore?

@sarabea126 I don’t have an unsubmit button either! Although I think that’s normal. The deadline to make changes was yesterday.

I wonder if that means they don’t start making placements until Monday? Hmm…

@paigerose92 that was my immediate thought! I feel like if that was true though then what would they have been doing since final interviews?

@sarabea126 my theory is that they used that time to choose Corps members, but not placements. TFA staff were on vacation for some period of time between Christmas Eve and New Year’s, so they probably chose Corps members before that. Now that they’re back they are making placements. Those who have “under review” but will change to “complete” have been placed and thus given a financial package based on their placement.

At least, this is the scenario I’m picturing in my head!

this wait is driving me crazy…

I really wished I hadn’t gone straight to the final interview, but I’m sure TFA’s method and standards for choosing their corps members accounts for that potential weakness in the process.

@paigeorose92 that definitely makes sense! I’m going to go with that picture as well. Makes me feel better for the next 5 days!
