Yep I’m up already to nanny so I’ll just be waiting for the next 6-8 hours… good luck everyone!
Also, I am going to lose it if its updated before I am off because I can’t log on to the applicant center on my phone. Haha. But at least I’m not obsessively checking yet. I will just hang with you guys lol
D-Day – I love it!
My TF is still under review.
Me too. ^
I’m also still Under Review. Awake and waiting, ready to obsessively refresh my Applicant Center.
…“waiting is the hardest part”…
Time to go run some errands and pass the time semi-productively!
I have a feeling that it might stay this way until the very last minute. Maybe I should turn on my self-control app to block my internet access for the next few hours so I can keep working on my thesis…lol
Cool, you’re doing a thesis! What is it on? @zqbxhdzw
@zqbxhdzw haha oh i do not miss writing my thesis
haha it’s about political theory/conflict reduction. Not too much related to educational inequity I suppose!
@Marydee I can’t wait to be done with mine. …I love my research, but it is indeed stressful lol
@MoLoveMoGrowth I loved the research too! And the topic! But not the timelines and deadlines. Mine was on the effect the postal crisis has had on the historic post office buildings
@Mary dee Oooh, I like it!! Yea, I feel you…The deadlines, and setbacks (being on other people’s schedules) is my main headache. Mine is with African American grandparents residing in nursing homes and their perceptions of influence with their family and communities, after being admitted into the facility.
Morning all and good luck on D-Day! All I know is my location and while I feel blessed I’m dying for some more info…Orlando is a new region so I can’t even look anything up on the website and it’s not on the summer institute schedule.
I think that is very relevant to educational inequality. Much of the inequality is rooted in bad/ineffective policy creation… How people view it is an important indicator for what/how to change it. @zqbxhdzw
@chellepepper yes unfortunately TNTP expects you to reimburse them for tuition for their academy after you start teaching which is actually the opposite of TFA which everything is provided >.< actually one of the main reasons I still applied to TFA after being accepted into TNTP.
@NickyMomma @chellepepper it depends on the program you apply for actually. The one i was accepted to your training is at a very reduced rate for grad school
@NickyMomma You are so lucky! Soo happy for you! You’re going to Orlando for TFA?
I’m thrilled today is finally the day, but these last few hours waiting for it is agony. D:
