Oh I never completed the need based transitional funding, as I had no need for it. Probably why it doesnt say submitted or complete. haha
@wanderingabout, I bet you will get Mississippi since it is a high priority region! I put Las Vegas as my higly preferred for one of my high priority regions, at #4, I would love to teach in LV Valley.
I’d be happy with absolutely any region! I don’t know why I put Orlando down as my only least preferred, honestly, they’re all highly preferred to me! With subjects I am a bit more picky: really hoping for either most preferred or preferred – they are the ones I feel I’d be comfortable teaching. But really? In the end? I would take ANYTHING.
It should not matter @gggggg if you were late as long as you had what they were looking for. Also, I know our location was not as easy to find which is why I left the house 2 hours early because I hate driving downtown during traffic hours and trying to find somewhere to park

But yes, I would literally take any location. I don’t care where. But I have to be more picky about subjects, because if I don’t know it well enough to teach… that’s just a recipe for becoming part of the problem rather than the solution.
I was so nervous @gggggg, I just wanted to check the room out and see everyone else when they came in. Everyone was nervous and I talked to everyone just so I could calm my nerves and be at ease during the teaching lesson lol
I was suuuper early because I was’t sure what traffic was going to look like that morning. Turned out to be a light traffic day and I was 40 minutes early. I had two people come out and tell me that they wouldn’t be with me until 9. It was a little awkward.
The group I interviewed with was wonderful. They were all super talkative and supportive. I hope they all go in.
I agree about the subjects @marydee, I myslef prefer math since I have a BS and MS in Accounting. But I am limited on locations because of my 2 boys
@marydee I hear you about being part of the solution. I think – and really, really hope – that TFA keeps that in mind. I did have special circumstances for my #1 region, but I wrote in my note that I WOULD be willing to move and my family is 100 percent behind me, and that in the end I’d rather teach something I’m comfortable with in a least preferred location. I just hope they take that into account! I’d think that they’d want to, though. They want to make the right match, too.
Still no change on my end, TF still under review. It seems to be taking longer this DL.
Ugh! My kids are coming home from school in the next ten minutes. I thought we’d all know by now, for sure!
