@chellepepper I’m not sure if I’m bringing my family or not to institute. Since Orlando is a new region they haven’t put on the webpage where our institute is…my husband and I are separated so he might just stay in Florida with our daughter unfortunately if I have to go far.

Thankfully, I have already passed my Praxis Core and my Praxis II tests. I was applying to graduate programs, as well, and they required those before they accepted you. I am super happy I don’t have to worry about those. But, they were fairly easy. If you know your subject area decently well, you will pass no problem. My minor in college was English Lit and I passed first try.
If anyone has any questions, please message me. I can’t give specifics about the test, but I can give you an overview of the experience and types of questions they asked.
@aprilmatt1113 and @nickymomma part of me really wants to go at it alone since it is so intense, but my son will only be 11 months when I leave and I would have to start weaning him from breastfeeding now. And I really don’t want to, yet. But worrying about pumping and all that, and finding family housing, just seems like a lot of extra.
I have to take the TexEs, not Praxis because Texas has a specialized set of tests

Yeah, but I do think TFA will provide you with family housing so you don’t HAVE to look for it.

Did your TF Status change to Complete at any time? No. I got a TF need-based grant offered today but it never went to “Complete.”
Subject and Location: Bilingual Education in New York (both my highly preferred) New York was my #2 on highly preferred. (I had three #2 options though)

@aprilmatt1113, I remember reading something about that, but now I can’t find it!
I know once we get into TFAnet we’ll be able to access more resources, which I think includes registering for summer institute and submitting housing preferences but I don’t think we can do that until May. So much thinking in one sentence.
When do we get access to TFAnet?
You have to accept your offer, and then they send you this email:

Knowing that I didn’t get a TFA offer, I am now weighing my other options. I plan on getting a teaching position that may potentially lead to a teaching credential. Anyone know how TFA views such position? If I were to re-apply next year with a teaching credential, would that be frowned upon?
I know TFA doesn’t mind applicants with teaching credentials, but if that will go against me then I most definitely not go that route.
Anyone with teaching credential accepted in here?
