Teach For America- 2018 Corps

I just checked my code and my “applicantDispositionstep” says “FINALEVAL” but my “applicantDispositionExitCode” says “null”. Does anyone’s code look like this toward the end?:

“switch(document.title) {
case “Your Status”:
$(’#welcome-nav’).addClass(‘current’);
$(’#statusButton’).addClass(‘current’);
break;
case “Accept Our Offer”:
$(’#acceptOffer a’).css(‘background’, ‘#1db3e7’);
$(’#acceptOffer’).css(‘background’, ‘#1db3e7’);
break;
…”

Not sure what to think of it yet, but let me know if you have this as well!

Mine also has the same code! I also do not have my timelines… hoping this is good news!!

In past threads, it seems like everyone who had their timeline disappear ended up being accepted!

now my timeline is gone. but I’m sure its nothing of importance.

@dinnertime6 my code is the same. Fingers crossed it’s good news!

Has anyone received the post interview email questionnaire yet?

I’m pretty sure we determined on this thread for the past deadlines this year that neither the timeline nor the codes were any sort of indicator for acceptance – I guess TFA became aware of early indicators and got rid of all of them. So don’t read too much into anything! It can make the waiting harder I guess but you’ll all find out at the same time and don’t have to stress out about any codes or anything!

Did anyone notice their transitional funding becoming “verified”? Do they verify everyone’s despite if they get the offer or not? Seems like a lot of work to verify someone’s funding if they don’t get the offer.

My timeline is also gone. My code also says the thing about “accepting an offer.” I’m not getting my hopes up about it. Will we log on to the applicant center to learn of our acceptance or rejection? Or will we be sent an email?

My timeline is gone as well! And @Hope2DoWell I believe you log on to applicant center no matter what, but I think they’ll send an email to let us know that the decisions are live. Just a guess though!

Hi all,

Applicant decisions will be posted to the applicant center before you receive an email. For D2, it was posted around 1pm EST, and then between 3-4pm EST i received an email congratulating me on my acceptance into the program. It most likely won’t be the same times for each deadline, but the rule of thumb is results are posted to the applicant center before you receive an email.

Hi everyone! I interviewed this past Friday and felt really good about it, but since then my timeline has still been there which makes me nervous. How long after your all’s interviews did you notice your timelines disappearing?

@beachnboho I interviewed last Wednesday and my timeline went away yesterday, if that helps!

@beachnboho I interviewed last Wednesday and mine was gone by last Thursday. I wouldn’t read into it too much!

There have been people in this thread whose timelines have disappeared that did not get an offer and people whose timelines did not disappear that received an offer. I wouldn’t stress about the timeline.

sooo where did everyone interview! and how was it!

I interviewed last Friday (2/23) and just received my post interview questionnaire this morning

I received my questionnaire this morning too. Interviewed last Wednesday. My morning went SO well. Personal interview felt a little awkward.

I interviewed in Baltimore. It was such a fun experience, and I loved everyone I had the pleasure of meeting/ interviewing with. We all had lunch/breakfast together in between our TFA info session and personal interviews. I’m trying not to get my hopes up, although I feel I did well. Regardless of the outcome, I was honored to be invited to interview and meet such wonderful people. Each I’m certain will do great things.

I interviewed in Champaign, IL on Wednesday! It went well, and it was really cool to see the lessons everyone had prepped. The group activity was a little awkward, but my afternoon interview was great. It was a little frustrating because I interviewed with a staff member who didn’t have direct corps experience, so there were some of my questions that she couldn’t answer, but she was still very friendly and attentive. I’m hopeful, so we’ll see what happens.
