Teach For America - 2019 Corps

my portal also looks the same.
@JinxedKing i was never invited to a webinar after my interview, only before my interview. For this video, I have to watch it and reflect on it. I don’t know why they would still be wanting me to do this if I wasn’t accepted. It would be like they’re leading me on

Also, has anyone’s make a decision square on the portal added more links? I now have six, but of course they won’t open until the 29th.

@teacher2019 No, mine only has “Your Regional Offer” which I am able to view, but I don’t have any other links.

Mine has six now too:

@teacher2019 @florida18593 I also have those six options in that square and received an email yesterday morning to watch and reflect on a video about Omarina’s story.

I have those same six. and that is the same video i was emailed about too

I still haven’t received an email about that particular video. I do however have the six new options available under “Make a Decision”. I’m assuming that is pretty good news, can’t imagine you need those new options if your denied.

I have the links but also haven’t received an email. Was the email from TFA or from your recruiter?

I’m assuming they’ve been updated only for the first round applicants, because mine is still the same as it has been for weeks with me just being able to see my regional assignment. I’m sure it will update for everyone on Monday because I highly doubt TFA would give away such an indicator for acceptance before the release date.

TFA hasn’t been the smoothest in the past in hiding the details this close to the release date. In the past you could view you acceptance from viewing the html code, It would say accepted. Also your timeline used to disappear if/when a admittance decision was made. I know TFA corrected those, but it would not surprise me if this was another indicator. (Also admittedly it’s wishful thinking, but it makes sense) Also Yes I applied during the first round. So we all find out if we were admitted on the 29th. When did you interview @HopingForTFA2019

@JinxedKing March. I was accepted early.

@florida18593 I got it from my recruiter. I’m assuming that I was paired up with a recruiter is because I’d be a career switcher and not a recent graduate like most TFA applicants.

@hopefulbub I assumed that for myself, as well! Glad to see there are other career switchers here and not just recent graduates. I feel like I’m going to be a grandma at Institute lol

mine was from a director of recruitment. However, I am not a career switcher. I am graduating this year

I haven’t received an email. I’m hoping that isn’t a bad thing

I hope all of the new links on the make a decision page are good news

I never received a link about a video but my portal has opened up new options under “Make A Decision” as well.
I also just got an email that begins with the header “Good Luck on Monday” that reads
“I wanted to send you a quick note before you receive word about whether or not you’ve been accepted into Teach For America on Monday. I can only imagine how nervous you are, because I too was once in your shoes. I’m sure you are anxious for any little hint you can get about whether or not you got in… sorry to disappoint! Unfortunately, I’m no help there - I’m crossing my fingers and anxiously awaiting the information just like you.” And goes on for a few more paragraphs.
I honestly don’t think this is an indication of anything though. I think some of the TFA m

@tfaenbie I actually didn’t get the good luck email you’re talking about, so maybe it means something?

I got new links under the “Make a Decision” section but I have not received any new emails from TFA  Ah I just want to know already so I can get the disappointment over with.

@Fanta-chan the emails were from TFA recruiters, so I don’t think there is any correlation with that and being accepted or not
