Ah!! Would love to talk about transitions with folks, even nervous myself just moving 600-800 miles away to Buffalo, NY from current home and on the fence/will decide when meeting Buffalo folks, to either store/send to someone to hold for me or just pack bags and move to Buffalo right after graduation/stay with someone in Buffalo for the summer.
added context: I am an independent which means everything I own/have is always with me so have a lot to move of files/very personal irreplaceable things, and things I’ve paid for in the past two or three years that is a lot of money.
In about 24 hours, we find out about our acceptance!!! How’s everyone feeling?

Have any of you guys submitted your transitional funding requests? I have, but mine still says it’s “under review.” I know in the past that was a bad sign, but I suppose that may have changed given the new efforts to hide early hints.
I’m nervous, too! I hope we all get in since we’re on this forum and really want it.
I think I’m actually more calm today than I have been in the past. But I always got strangely calm and chill on Christmas Eve as a kid too. As far as tomorrow goes, I’m feeling pretty hopeful! I will admit I do want this pretty bad, so I’m sending all the good vibes!
@ tfachinwi19 I’ve read the 2017 & 2018 forums, and a lot of people who had their funding still under review are accepted. Even more so since you could still submit it, there is no way they get to everyone in time. Mine also still says under review.

I have never been more anxious for anything in my life. Tomorrow cannot come soon enough. Does anyone know what time the decision will be posted? I saw from previous years it has been around 3-4pm. I really hope it is earlier. I probably will look at midnight, just in case good luck to everyone tomorrow!! It has been great being in this forum with you guys!
@HopefulTFA2019 it’s anybody’s guess! I’ve even seen some as early as 11 AM CST. Hoping for all of us it’s earlier rather than later

Turns out I’m no longer calm! Lol I’m pretty much going crazy waiting as well, and now I think my wife has caught it too. So I’ll be updating the website and somehow trying to sleep, good luck to everyone! I’ll make sure to post an update if I don’t sooner!

I’m just going to try to reapply for next year if I don’t get in lol. Not going to give up joining TFA that easy. And oh yessss, I hope I’ll be able to find out tomorrow morning. It’ll make it easier for me to know before going into work tomorrow. Anyways, it was really fun making the list of potential places I would teach. Capital California Valley, Bay Area, and San Diego were at the top of my list.

Don’t want to get everyone’s hopes up but the source code says it should reveal anywhere between midnight and 4pm?
Technically midnight, sooooo happy decision day everyone!! I’m glad that everyone else is checking the source code as religiously as I am. Some of my tops are Orlando, Hawaii, and Houston.
Anyone see any changes in the code yet? I think I’m just over analyzing things, and seeing changes when none are there lol. Maybe I should just sleep on it.
