Hey everyone! I also applied to TFA and I hear back this Monday. Super nervous and anxious. I applied as an early corps and I’m very different from everyone - as I am an elementary education major. I really hope I get this because I want to save the kids.
Also what do you mean timeline disappears?? I’m confused 
Hi guys! I applied early deadline as well. Waiting to hear back on Monday. I completed my coursework after my timeline disappeared.
Also @iteacher4you2 the timeline everyone is referring to is the one at the very top of the page telling you the steps from application submission, to interview, to decision notification and etc. in your applicant center. I was confused about that too until I noticed I didn’t have anything at the top of my page anymore. I also know education majors who made it in the last round, so I wouldn’t be too concerned about that.
Oh okay @TFA2019 mine disappeared! I really want this because I’m a about education equality!! I love children and will give them everything I have to see them succeed!!!
What’s your major?
I’m a public health major. I used to be a 4-8 english and social studies education major, but long story short I was going to have to stay at my university an extra year if I remained in that major so I switched out.
@iteacher4you2 I am worried as well, I am an education major! My major is Child & Family Development and I have two minors in counseling and social change and cultural proficiency .
@sswhite96 so glad to see another education major! I am an elementary education…my college doesn’t let ed majors have a minor because we do so much learning, field experience, and off campus activities.
I’m sure we both got this - Monday will be here very soon! I’m so anxious! So very anxious

I am so anxious for tomorrow! How did your interview go? What did you teach as your 5 minute lesson?
I think my interview went well! I did my lesson on solving addition by using a number line (kindergarten).
My interview was conducted virtually, so the first 5 minuets I was nervous but then as the day went on I felt very comfortable!

So I did my 5 minute lesson on identifiying the 5 parts of a friendly letter! It really went great! My interview went awesome too, I feel like I made her laugh and answered the questions to the best of my ability! I drove 3 and a half hours for it!

I have not been on the applicant center since last weekend, because I don’t want to check and have my timeline not be there:(

Was your timeline still there? Or was it gone? I’m confused. I thought it being gone meant we were in?
Correction: I meant that I didn’t want to see if it had reappeared.

Y’all are freaking me out with this timeline thing. Mine hasn’t disappeared, not even once I don’t think.
I haven’t checked my application center until today so I guess it could have disappeared since my interview on the 10th, but it’s there now
I’m just gonna keep an open mind, TFA is really selective and they pass on some highly qualified candidates every year. No one in this group should feel like they weren’t good enough if they don’t get in. It’s just out of our hands!
