I got accepted for the Greater Philly Region, Elementary ed! Is anyone else going to be in this region?!
@MissMadd Welcome to NYC! See you in the summer (:
A little late here, but I had a subject reassignment from SPED to secondary humanities!
Hi all!
I’ve been scouring this forum and I’ve seen some great advice. I had some questions if anyone can answer based on their experience.
- I am a recent grad, certified to teach, with experience teaching in a low income setting. How likely do you all think I am to be admitted? (if anyone here has been admitted and has an ed degree all the better).
- Did anyone experience cities coming in and out of their eligibility range? Last night all but one region were available to me, today a couple of those were now ineligible. Is this based on availability in the region or changing credentials?
Hello! Anybody hoping to be placed in the midwest and having trouble adding the Twin Cities?
Hi! I’m from Cleveland and also looking at Midwest cities. Having the same issue. Twin Cities is the only city unavailable to me at the moment. I’m thinking they’re looking for very specific candidates who can teach specific subjects. Not sure what you studied, but my undergrad was in English, so I’m thinking they’re more STEM focused maybe? They could also just not be accepting more people there for 2020. They don’t really provide much of a reason so it’s hard to say. Best of luck to you!
