Help!

So, I'm filling out my TFA app...and it asks some serious personal questions I would rather not answer.

Questions making me squirm:

Have you ever been subject to disciplinary sanction?
Have you ever failed a class?
Have you ever withdrawn from a class?

Damn. Should I just forget it and not apply? I have great leadership experience in education, have taught and tutored extensively, but these questions hella immediate me.

ermm...SAT scores...really? Nevermind...disregard this thread.

All jobs have a “subject to disciplinary sanction or been convicted of a felony” portion

^^^ this is true, but most jobs don’t care if you got into a little trouble frosh year. They just care if you committed any actual real crimes.

Since i can’t go back and delete this thread, has anyone here applied and yet had a few booboos and still got in? Or is this really like applying for law school aka i have to be perfect in everyway.

Hella immediate? What does that mean?

Let it go. Just give it a try and see what happens. You can’t be the first one without a W on the transcript, right?

I will just say this: If you either do not answer these questions, or do not answer these questions truthfully, you will either automatically not receive an offer or will be in an enormous amount of trouble should they find you were lying after you are accepted, respectively.

Dude, it’s only…Teach For America. Relax.

I don’t think any of these questions are sketchy. Honestly you worrying about them just makes you come off as sketchy.

And I’m sorry but judging from your post I’d hope you wouldn’t be teaching the next generation.

“Hella immediate me” LOL

lol. y’all are so siddy and snooty.

anyway…thanks for the replies so far. If I have time, I’ll apply.

:)
