Teach me how to dance- in less than 2 hours

Hey! So, I'm going to this dance at my school. I haven't been to a dance in like 2 years, and even the ones I went to, I didn't dance much. I'm a guy, and I guess like all the nerdy people here: awkward, wear glasses, and yeah...You get it. I'm not like fat or anything though; just awkward. It's a reg. high school dance, music and what not. What should I do? I can do the slow dance ok, it's just the regular dancing, with the rap/r&b stuff. What should I do? How do I move, my hands, legs, etc. Should I laugh, or be slightly serious...I would greatly appreciate your help. Thanks.

Listen to the music, move with the rhythm. Hip hop will have heavy bass, so just do your thing. Try not to be funny with your dance moves, it get's annoying really fast for your date and the people around you. It's a different story if other's join in. Haha.
And if all else fails, just follow the girl. Good luck and hope that helps!

Its a lot easier for us (guys) to grind than girls. Just put your hands on her hips and hold yourself close... and move with the rhythm.

Okay- watch closely. Move your arms like this and...

If you don't have the sexiness factor you should just give up now.

But I guess I'm a few days late.

13lueflame LOL dude I was totally following your moves then you stopped. What happen man?

Grinding is boring
But nobody will make fun of you for it unless you're overgrinding or graze-humping.

Keep it slow, get some nice bounce going on the beat, and you'll be alright

well if youre from the bay just go dumb

I'm from the bay...that's harder done than said

mono what college you goin to?

don't lift your feet off the ground. ever. looks really good. Also practice up a few air guitar and air sax riffs.
