teacher common app evaluation

Hey, I was wondering, when you give your teachers the common app evaluation form, are they supposed to photocopy it and put it in the envelopes you give them? And do the colleges mind if they get a photocopy or original? Sorry, I know it’s a stupid question…

Most teachers will photocopy it at school to eliminate cost.

Photocopies are acceptable as long as the rec is generic - i.e., doesn't say "Sam would be a perfect fit for X College," and then send that rec to A,B,C, and D college.

But some schools have their own rec form!!!So it means that we just need to download and give it to the teacher???But what will happen if my teacher's handwriting is not really legible?(I'm sorry if this is somewhat idiotic)

Sometimes self-question-making and self-answering annoys viewers, esp your "!!!" and "???". Just tell you that because I read some of your posts and I don't really feel it's worth reading at all :)
crimson4me: as wishingandhoping said, they accept photocopies and in case you want to secure, just tell you teacher sign into the paper after photocopying it. It might make the recommendation more formal and trusting :D
Khoa: so sorry to hear that some teachers have bad writtings, but you can always look for those who write clearly :), or you can ask your teachers to have the recommendation typed.

Oh,I'm sorry:D.I'm in the bad habit of using "!!!" or "???" when posting something:D....I'm tryin' to give it up but it seem a little bit difficult!
Oh abt the rec com,it's pity that the people who I will ask to rec don't know English well.:((....Have you been in college yet ?jaah?

No, Khoa, I'm taking gap year(s), have no idea when to take off :D
Asking for recommendation in countries outside the US is completely different, the procedure changed. You can ask for a Vietnamese version, translate it EXACTLY by yourself then bring back to the teachers and have his signature for the evaluation. That's it.

thanx 4 the replies

Translate it by yourself? I thought a legalized translation is necessary !
