If I am applying ED to Cornell, do I have to send the teacher/ counselor recommendation letters at the same time I'm sending my application?

No, you can send any parts of the application in any order you want. As long as you do it before Nov. 1st.

Not 100% sure, but I did it online and I sent mine part by part

alright thanks.
one more question; it says on the Cornell website that I need two teacher evaluations. Does that mean I dont need an evaluation from a counselor? Or can I do one teacher and one counselor?

No...you need 2 teacher evaluations in addition to your guidance counselor recommendation.

^ Dewdrop87 is right. When you invite teachers, there'll be the "counselor" option for you to invite.

Also, if you think one of your teacher's rec is negative. Send in an extra rec that is strong and can overcome the other one, but one only. (Source: I called and talked to the admission office)

i'm getting a letter from my english teacher and one from my speech and debate coach (which is a class..so would that count?), a counselor letter and a letter from my hospital volunteer coordinator...are those sufficient enough?

Do you just invite your teachers online, or do you also send proper letters of rec?

Nieljohn123, I think that sounds just great. Just make sure they're all positive.

SaveTheManatees, if you're doing your application online, you have to invite your teachers online.

is the counselor reccomendation the secondary school report?

Your secondary school report is your transcript.
