<p>If you give your teacher a stamped addressed envelope the school will have a 'return address' stamp they can use. Or just give your teacher a postage stamp and s/he can use a school envelope.</p>
<p>Uh oh, I think on one of mine I put my return address. My teacher had given it to me with just the mailing label on so I put the address. Will it really hurt me, or will the actual admittance people even see it?</p>
<p>flipchick--it won't even be noticed by the clerical help who opens the envelopes, I'm sure. But the reason for not having your address in the return spot is that on the off chance that the letter is sent back (insufficient postage, or whatever), the letter should go back to the person who wrote it--protects the confidentiality of the letter.</p>
