Teacher doesn't teach

This is my first post, so I’m new here.

Question: Is it possible to remove a class from my transcript if the teacher couldn’t teach properly?

I am in 11th grade, I took trigonometry first semester and honors math analysis for my second semester. I received a D in trigonometry, and I am currently failing Honors Math Analysis. I have never failed a single class in my life, and the low grades in this class have caused a huge drop in my GPA for my Junior year. Here is the problem, I have a teacher (same teacher for both semesters), he never really started teaching until a good month into the first semester. He just did “reviews” from geometry and algebra 2. When he began teaching trig, he was an awful teacher. He only showed the answer and did the work for us, never giving us the “how” when taking down notes. His tests were also extremely difficult, some never even appeared in our notes! He had a great personality, but he was a terrible teacher in the case of teaching. So I finished the year off with a D.
Next semester came, and it was Honors Math Analysis, unfortunately, I had the same teacher. Our school also doesn’t allow class switches if you just dislike the teacher or the way he teaches. So semester 2 became a real big problem for me. He decided to ditch the class books and requested all of us to get a pre-calc book from the book office instead. As months went on, his teachings were just useless to me, and I just began giving up on the class. The books were useless as most of the stuff he taught were his own problems and not specifically from the book, so it was hard for me to locate each topic. He ended up hurting my GPA. I also began to notice how nearly half the class was having trouble too. The other half of the class that was doing moderate or well were either math lovers or people who failed the previous year, and they’re retaking the class.
In conclusion, I don’t know what to do! Fortunately, all my classes for my senior year are on topics that I love, 3 being AP and 1 being an IB course. To ensure that my GPA stays over a 3.2 I would have to receive all A’s in both semesters in my senior year! My question again is, would it be possible to drop my math classes from my transcript in my junior year?

Note:
Sorry for the extremely long post, I felt that it was important for me to express my problem with as many details as possible to help anyone reading this to understand my problem better. Also sorry if something that I said makes no sense, I am extremely tired today as I’ve been studying all week and I have 4 tests tomorrow.

Thanks to those who took the time to read this!

Precalculus is a tough course and you shouldn’t have given up. Just take the class next year and you’ll get a better grade. The things will seem more familiar then. You’ll have to accept the “bad” teacher since no schedule changes are allowed.

For this reason? No. But removing classes from a transcript is a school decision, so you would need to ask them. Note though that nobody will ever accept “teacher doesn’t teach” as a valid excuse. Even for really good teachers, they are responsible for conveying the info, but you are responsible for learning it. When there is a gap, pretty much everyone will say that the onus is on the student to fill that gap.

No, you cannot drop them off your transcript, unfortuneately.

I would have suggested that you get a tutor, form a study group, or go to the teacher’s office hours daily. I would have suggested that you and your parents talk to the head of the Math Department and get them to evaluate the teacher’s teaching. I would have suggested that you start teaching yourself on KhanAcademy.

What you need to do now is do well in your next math class. Go to the teacher’s extra help hours, get a tutor, do extra problems and you can do well.
