If I already selected my two teachers to write recs for me on the commonapp website, do I need to print out the hard copy forms of the Teacher Evaluation to give to my teachers?

If your teachers will be submitting the recs online (which is the preferred method for the common app schools), you should put your teachers’ email addresses in the form on the common app site and then proceed to select them as recommenders for each school on your list. Then, they will very quickly get an email from the common app inviting them to recommend you. If you have already done this, you should be able to keep track of their progress through your common app account. You won’t need to provide any hard copies, envelopes or stamps and they will do everything online.

The only reason to print hard copies is the situation where your teachers have told you that they do not want to submit online. In that case you should still add their names as recommenders on the common app site, but you can print out the forms, (making sure your information is filled in properly along with your common app ID) and provide them stamped, addressed envelopes for each school.

where do i get the hard copy forms?
