I sent in all of my applications today, but the one for Duke, i sent two teachers as my evaluaters, but one teacher hasn't completed or even started my letter of recomendation (I've been asking for it since November). I was meaning to take that teahcer off as one of my evaluaters and place another teacher, but I realized I didn't do it till after I submitted my essay. What should I do? I would really appreciate anyone's input...

Oh, I just remembered my teacher( the one who I was going to replace as my evaluater) gave me a copy of his teacher evaluation. I’m going to send that to Duke’s undergraduate admissions office, express, hopefully it will get there in time. Do you think that will be fine? Or do you think I should fax it? Each page on the bottom says it was generated online and it has my common app id so there is proof i did in no way tamper with the evaluation. What do you guys think?

If I were you, I would fax and mail it express. In fact, I’d even call the Duke admissions office, if at all possible, to explain the situation, and then wait for further instructions from the school.

Thanks for replying! Yeah I tried contacting them, every one is closed for the holidays! I’m going to do both things tomorrow, I hope it works out

I have the same problem, but I’m not lucky enough to have a copy of the teacher evaluation. Will it be an issue if the teacher rec is not submitted in time?
