teacher evaluation v. recommendation

<p>This question popped into my head when I was looking through the common application. Forgive me if you think it's stupid. :D</p>

<p>Is teacher evaluation the same as teacher recommendation? Like, when the college says that they require 1 teacher recommendation, does that mean you have to submit the evaluation form, or a real letter of recommendation? I'm quite confused. :P Thanks.</p>

<p>Well, typically you would send in both a real letter and the common app form to schools that ask for the evaluation, and you could do the same for ones that ask for recommendations (assuming they use the common app). I would go with that method if I were you.</p>
