teacher let me read rec

So after my teacher mailed my recs to UNC and Emory, he let me read one. i nt he letter he writes that i scored a 5 on my ap us history exam. but i didn't, i got a four! i got a five on the world history the year before, but not on the us history test! how bad is this? it is not my fault he got the info wrong, and i had two other recommendations for both schools....will this kill me? im so scared

Thid isn't bad. Your teacher made a minor mistake; that won't reflect badly on you. Relax, you'll be fine.

Good luck!

colleges know teachers have many many recs to write and are prone to such mistakes. They're more interested in how the teacher feels about you not the tiny details that you can provide yourself.

lol don't freak out; you'll be okay!

ooh thats harsh, auto-reject sorry look at a community college

wait you're kidding right?
when im stressed i lose my ability to detect sarcasm
.....

No problem, aem08. They'll see your score reports and you should have had a chance to report your scores on your applications. It's no biggie at all. Relax.

Is there any sense in asking the teacher to send a follow-up note clarifying/correcting? I'm sure it's not necessary - and I don't want to recommend it if anyone thinks it might hurt in some way.
