Yeah, I can sympathize with you. If she really did sound angry when you suggested after school, then I understand why you got angry. I hate it when teachers snap for no reason. I wouldn’t snap at a teacher, due to the fact that I’m a coward, but I can understand wanting to do so.

I’ve snapped at teachers before. I don’t think you should worry about it that much. Give a genuine apology and just say that you would like to work something out. If you have been putting in the effort all year she should be reasonable.

A week ago I snapped at a teacher because a small project was due and I had forgotten to do a part of it. I had a track meet that night, farm work is in full force so I went straight to work after I got home (worked late that night), and I had been preparing for AP tests with any free time I did have. I simply asked if I could turn it in at the end of the day and use my study hall to finish it up. I have never had a problem of turning assignments in and was a top student in the class, so I just assumed that she would give me the benefit of the doubt. Well, she didn’t.

I blew up to say the least… At least here in Wisconsin I have Scott Walker backing me ;)

I apologized a couple days later and she said that she could have been more considerate as well… Just a stressful time of the year for teachers and students alike.

Consider yourself lucky that your teacher didn’t give you an F right then and there. No matter how angry you were or what the circumstances were, it’s just wrong to say something like that to a teacher. I’ve had really evil witch teachers before, but we have to give teachers respect.

Also, your teacher is really nice to give you the opportunity to continue taking the test. At my school, once the time is up (50 min), you’re done. Our stoich test was 80 questions -_-

Well since I didn’t finish, I think I got an F lol. I feel better now, and very relaxed. I Just went to a funeral so I forgot all about school, my teacher and all this commotion. Thanks for your concerns and responses.
