Teacher Rec forms. Urgent help needed!

Rather than elaborating on my situation, here's an email that I sent out to each of the schools I am applying to. Please read it and provide answers to the questions below, if you have any. I am in desperate need of help T_T

====

Hi, my name is Eric Byung Chan Kim and I'm a freshman applicant to your school.

I've run into a dilemma recently. I asked my math teacher for a letter of recommendation several months ago, and each time I asked him if he completed them, he said that he had. However, commonapp.org shows otherwise. According to the School Forms section, his status is still listed as "Not Started."

I've emailed him, resent him all the school forms, and attempted to call him for the last two weeks, but to no avail. My question is thus: If he submits the forms after the application deadline, what effect will that have on my chances of admission? Also, might his status be "Not Started" because he sent the forms by mail, not electronically?

Thank you.

====

Basically my first application is due by today. I seriously do not know what to do..

You’ve done your part. Now just make sure when you get back to school that your teacher does in fact submit those letters. Usually (at least where I applied) after the application deadline, the schools would list on your online account what you still need to turn in for them to consider your application. They understand that there are certain parts of the application out of your control, such as teacher and counselor recommendations

Whew! Thanks a bunch.
