teacher rec help

<p>Before break, I had my counselor and teacher fill out paper recs. I then decided to do the app online, so I told them to submit it online too. However, I think they forgot and I don't have their phone numbers (only school ones). I emailed them, but they haven't replied. Will I be able to submit my app online if I mail in the paper recs that I already have. I think the teachers have to check a box for paper rec, but in this case, it will most likely be after jan 6 and the deadline is jan 1. Will the online app say it's incomplete and not let me turn it in? What should I do?

You can submit your application online and the recs by mail. And/or your teachers can complete the recs after the deadline; only your part of the application/supplement absolutely, positively has to be in by the deadline.</p>

<p>If you mail the forms, commonapp.org will show your "School Forms" section with a yellow square instead of a green triangle forever. That's no big deal. geek_son's "School Forms" section for his ED college still shows a yellow square, and he's already been admitted.</p>
