Teacher rec help!

yo crew, need some major advice.

my secondary school report, counselor letter, and one teacher rec have all made it to brown before the deadline (jan. 1). but, i have a college professor who’s only faxed his letter to brown and couldn’t submit the actual common app teacher form because all post offices were closed (obviously) on new year’s day.

as long as his letter’s there, do you think it’s a huge problem? should i call up the office as soon as it opens up? and this doesn’t just apply to brown – i’ve got the same problem (because he’s the second teacher rec) to a lot of other schools.

get at me.

I think you should try to send the letter WITH the Common App form as soon as possible. On the Brown site, it says: "School Forms and references should reach us by the application deadline, or as soon as possible thereafter." I don't think it's a big problem if they receive one teacher rec a little later (they take weeks to open everything), so as long as you send everything soon, you'll be fine. Good luck!
