<p>What is considered a timely manner for a teacher to submit a rec in? I asked the two teachers that are to do my common app recs in early october, the one teacher was happy to write one for me and did it the next week, but now, over a month later, the other teacher hasn't even started the rec; I recently resended the invite, but at what point should I actually ask her about it (I don't want to be bothersome as I know she has lots of stuff to do and it isn't as though they are due really soon). I guess what I'm trying to say is at what date should I actually start to worry that she hasn't gotten the rec done if my app is due at the beginnig of Jan?</p>

<p>Yes, at the beginning of October. I just wanted to know how long I should expect to wait before she turns it in before getting worried that she forgot etc…</p>
