<p>If I want to give my teachers some kind of gift/letter to show my appreciation for their writing my letter, when is usually the right time to do it? Would say... a week after they finished writing the letter be okay? Also, what kind of gifts did you guys give? I was thinking of just giving my teacher a hand-written thank you letter. Any advice would also be appreciated. Thanks :)</p>
<p>I gave my teachers thank you cards with some chocolates about a week after the early action deadline (by which time they had finished and sent most of the recs). There's no standard time, just be sure to thank them at some point.</p>
