Teacher Rec. sent after deadline?

I'm applying for early admission and I know that if a teacher is doing an online recommendation, then UNC admissions won't notify the teacher through email telling him/her to send in the stuff via email until AFTER I send in my application.

But I wasn't going to send in my application until a day or two before the deadline...So if my teacher sends in his online rec. after the early admission deadline (nov 1st) then is that okay..?

This is what I got in an email from them:

"Thank you for starting your online application. As a reminder, our nonbinding November 1 deadline is just one week away.

Please note that your application is considered complete as soon as we receive the application itself, your essays, and the application fee. Your official transcript, test scores, counselor statement, and teacher recommendations may arrive separately and after this date."

So it looks like it would be okay, but you should email them and ask to be sure.

How long do after the deadline do you plan on your teacher sending in the recommendation though?

So does the Nov.1st deadline mean you gotta submit your application by then or do they have to receive it by then. or do they receive it automatically when you submit it? I don't know if there is some kind of processing delay or anything.

you need to submit it by then. its pretty much instant.
