teacher rec/submission question

<p>The deadline for UNC is January 18th; however, an email is not sent to the recommending teacher until after the application is submitted...does this mean I should submit my app this weekend, in order for my teacher to get the rec sent by the 18th...or is there a certain amount of time after the 18th (for instance, I know some schools say two weeks for supporting docs) in which the rec can be submitted?</p>

<p>As long as you submit YOUR application by the 18th, that is okay. The teacher can receive the email asking for the recommendation AFTER the 18th.</p>

<p>I applied EA, and many people submited their applications on the day of the deadline.</p>
