I'm having trouble deciding between my math teacher and my physics teacher. I did well in both classes, but I didn't talk to either teacher that much beyond asking/answering questions. The math teacher has the kind of class where he's always either giving a lecture or grading something and doesn't get to know most students that well. I stand out to him mostly because he's the Math Club adviser and I did very well on the contests. On the other hand the physics teacher assigns lots of projects and presentations and tries to get to know most of his students, including myself, pretty well (he writes 30+ recommendations/year).

My math teacher thinks highly of me, but I don't know how much he could talk about besides what I did in the club, which will be in other parts of the application. My physics teacher could write me a good rec, but I don't know if I stand out to him relative to his other top students. Which teacher should I go for?
