Teacher Recommendation Forms

This is probably going to be one of the dumbest and most neurotic questions ever asked, but does it matter what type of paper off of which the teacher rec forms are printed? I mean, when I print it off at school the paper quality is horrible and is really flimsy. The ink is also faded. I don't know, but the end product is very unprofessional.

So does it really matter what paper you use, or what ink you use? Is it better to print in color?

if the school copies will be “flimsy” and “horrible”, i’d say its worth investing in a quick trip to kinkos. dunno if color is necessary… your call

It should be fine to print in black and white, but you might want to print the forms somewhere else.

Do the envelopes you give to your teacher have to a specific size? Does it matter if you give them the standard sized (4 1/8 x 9 1/2) or the larger envelopes that do not require to fold the paper?

Also, instead of the Common App Teacher Evaluation form, is it OK if the teacher just sends the traditional letter of recommendation?
