teacher recommendation process?

<p>Hi I am a high school junior and i'm a little worried about my teacher recommendation letters for the coming fall, because the teacher I wanted to ask is leaving.. so what should I do?
I have a couple of questions and I would appreciate it greatly if someone can help me out :) </p>

<li>can teachers submit the recommendations form online (for common app) ? </li>
<li>can i just ask my teachers if they are willing to write my recommendation letter before the school year ends and then during my senior year, i'll give them the link to submit the recommendation online? </li>
<li>i asked one of my teachers today, and she is willing to help me write the letter, however she is leaving .. and she asked me for my college list but.. i don't have one yet? can she just submit them online? </li>
<li>do I HAVE TO mail in a hard copy? </li>

<p>Hey amisnow, I can answer your questions,

  1. Of course your teachers can recommendation form online. On the online common app, you can invite my submitting your teacher information. Your teacher will get a email and (s)he can fill out the form online. Also online (s)he can upload the file which has your recommendation.
  2. Also of course you can. Giving your teachers extra time to write your rec might give you the best written one possible.
  3. Yes she can submit them online. Just have to give her the links to the online forms. Because she is leaving, your should get all her contract information and keep contracting her though out the process.
  4. If your teacher did everything online, you do not have to send a hard copy. If your did everything on your app online, the online rec automatically goes with your submitted online app.</p>
