I am thinking about who I should ask for my 2nd letter of Recommendation. I want to ask my math teacher who taught me H. Alg II in 9th and H. Pre Calc in 10th (and she runs NHS and I'm NHS President), but I read somewhere that It's better to ask teachers who taught you in 11th and 12th. Is it a bad idea to ask her for a rec? Thanks!

anybody? please help

I think it should be fine, especially since she is the advisor for NHS.

Ideally it’s better to go 11-12. But if you feel she knows you the best, then she’s the better choice. Also, if your first teacher is from later in high school then you’re totally fine.

The more recent and relevant connection always work better. If the 9th or 10th grade teachers give a much better recommendation, you take it anytime.
