teacher recommendation schools

<p>If you apply to several schools, does your teacher have to actually make more than one recommendation letter? Wouldn't that be arduous? </p>

<p>Yeah, but wouldn’t the teacher have to say why she/he is a fit at that particular school? You can’t photocopy that…</p>

<p>Most teachers will write a general letter discussing your attributes; they simply don’t have the time to customize letters for every school a student is applying for (keep in mind they are likely writing letters for several students, on top of their normal teaching duties)</p>

<p>Or they’ll add one sentence to the general letter explaining the fit. They won’t write 8 completely different letters.</p>
