TEACHER RECOMMENDATION SENT AFTER DEADLINE?!

<p>Ok, I am freaking out. So I am applying to Columbia University early decision so I sent in my application today. </p>

<p>One of my teacher recommendations was submitted a few days ago through Naviance. But the submission never connected to the Common App because I believe my counselor has to connect it. I did not really freak out over it because I knew Common App states that recommendations can be submitted after the application... but I just realized that might mean if the application is submitted before the deadline so, even though the recommendation is sent after it has to be by the deadline as well!? Is it ok if I speak with my counselor on Monday and have him connect the recommendation that day?!</p>

<p>I wish people would do searches before they post. As I indicated in other threads, your job is to submit by 11:59 pm today. The school parts are fine to be a few days late.
If you are able to submit, you submit on time, and you’ve met the deadline. They don’t care if the school stuff is a little late. A little though, not weeks…</p>
