Teacher Recommendation: What should I do??

I asked three teachers to write me recommendations. Two for general purposes because I believe they know me well etc etc. The third I asked because I know that she's an alumnus at one of the schools that I'm applying to and thought that she could provide an insight as to how I would fit in at that school in her recommendation.
Unfortunately, sending out teacher recommendations at my high school works like this: the first two recommendations sent down to the guidance office are sent to every college that I apply to.

..which I was painfully unaware of. I found out yesterday when I took one of my general purpose teacher recommendations down to the guidance office and my guidance counselor told me that she had already sent out everything. Oops.
Soooo...there's a distinct possibility that admissions officers at various universities will be reading about how well I would fit in at a completely different university (i.e. not the one they're representing).
Which brings me to my final question:
What should I do??

Contact the colleges and tell them that you sent in a wrong rec.

Sure, but I don’t really know how to explain it to them/if they will think poorly of me because of the incident. Especially so because there’s a possibility that she didn’t include anything about her alma mater because I’m not sure she even remembered that I was applying.

I’ve been meaning to contact her and ask if she mentioned her alma mater in her recommendation, but she hasn’t been in school the past few days and I won’t be back in school until after winter break! (i.e. after deadlines)
