<p>If I wanted to ask a teacher for a recommendation, what should I giver him/her? It feels kinda dumb for me to give them my resume since it just seems pointless for them to transcribe the points on my resume into sentences stating :abc was involved in club1, club 2, and club 3. She also actively participates in xyz, abc. Is there any way around this? (i.e. get her to focus on something?</p>
<p>I didn’t give my teacher anything when I asked for recommendations, but I did tell them though that if there’s anything they need from me that would help them write the letter, I would be more than happy to provide it.</p>
